Meet ZTE Hawkeye, a handfree Android smartphone that uses your eyes to automatically scroll the screen. Not just that, its back cover can stick to a wall or object so that you can be operating the phone without coming in contact with it. Reason for the name "Hawkeye".
Another name for the phone is Project CSX, which stands for Crowd Source X, the idea, design and name comes directly from consumers. The phone is just unique in its own way and stands out among many Android devices.
TWO KEY FEATURES OF THE ZTE HAWKEYE
1. Scrolling based on Eye-Tracking- by recognizing movement of the eyes, pages can scroll automatically up-down or left-right based on movement. Voice commands can be used to navigate between pages.
2. Stick to Walls and Surfaces with Self-Adhesive Case - with an optional case, the phone can be mounted to a vertical surface, freeing up the need to hold the phone. In other words, the phone's Adhesive case backing allows mounting to most surfaces.
Apart from the above sophisticated features, the phone is powered by Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 together with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be upgraded up to 256 GB via SD card.
The ZTE Hawkeye runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. It supports 4G LTE connectivity, fingerprint scanner, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth and many other connectivity options.
Interestingly, the phone doesn't cost much so you don't have to break the bank to get it. According to the price released by kickstarter, it is way affordable considering the features and specifications. Below is the full specs of the phone.
